What Is Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer (PCE)?

Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer (PCE) is a high-performance concrete admixture and advanced water reducing agent widely used in ready-mix concrete, precast concrete, pumped concrete, self-compacting concrete (SCC), and high-strength concrete applications.

When To Choose PCE Liquid?

Choosing the right PCE superplasticizer depends on your concrete application, raw material system, transportation distance, climate conditions, and required performance.

For most wet concrete production systems, PCE Liquid is usually the first choice because it is easier to dose, faster to disperse, and more suitable for continuous concrete batching.

Red Mix Concrete Production

PCE Liquid is highly suitable for ready-mix concrete plants because it can be directly added during batching and quickly dispersed in the concrete mixture.

For ready-mix concrete, the key concern is not only water reduction, but also slump retention during transportation. If the concrete needs to remain workable for 1–3 hours before reaching the job site, liquid PCE is usually more practical than powder PCE.

Pumped Concrete

For pumped concrete, stable flowability and low pumping resistance are very important. PCE Liquid helps improve concrete fluidity, reduce internal friction, and maintain better cohesion during pumping.
